HCMC hosts Encon Expo 2011

Photo: khoahoc.com.vnThe third Energy Conservation Exposition (Encon Expo 2011) will take place in Ho Chi Minh City from October 13th to 16th by the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s Office of Energy Efficiency, the Ministry of Science and Technology and the City’s Energy Saving Centre.

Many domestic and foreign businesses will show their latest products of industrial equipments, household facilities, technology consulting and transfer services and new energy saving materials and plans on construction and traffic and transport fields.

On the side line of the Expo, the organizers will also hold many activities including a capital supporting program for equipment, traders and investors, shows by participants on their energy-saving products, a contest of solar-powered car design and the City’s women’s energy-saving contest.

The Encon Expo 2011 aims to motivate exchanges, cooperation, energy-conservation technology-transfer and introduce energy-efficient products to the public to raise community awareness of using energy economically and effectively.
