Young Vietnamese footballers Nguyen Minh Hung and Nguyen Phong Hung Duy arrived in Qatar on January 20 to join the final competition for a place at the Aspire Academy for Sports Excellence.

The two players from Binh Duong had successfully passed many tests and evaluations set by foreign trainers in the qualifying round of the “Football Dreams” programme held last August.
They will now participate in a three-month special training session before the final test.
“Football Dreams” is a nonprofit programme that provides players who are admitted into the Aspire Academy with a monthly salary of US$5,000-US$7,000 during their three-year stay. Their families also receive more than US$7,000 every year.
