The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has announced to suspend four players who involved in incidents in the third round of the Super League 2012.

Three out of seven games at the third round did not take place smoothly. At the Thanh Hoa stadium, Nguyen Chi Cong of Binh Duong’s FC severely protested center referee Nguyen Trong Thu’s decision. After the game, he followed the referee to insult him.
VFF has decided to ban Cong from four games and impose VND15 million ($750) of fine on him. This is the severest penalty since the beginning of Super League.
In the game between Song Lam Nghe An and Hanoi T&T at Vinh Stadium, Huy Hoang and Samson had a violent crash. Huy Hoang, made a dangerous act against Nigerian striker Samson of Hanoi T&T. In return, Samson kicked Huy Hoang’s face. Both players will be banned from two matches and have to pay VND10 million ($500) of fine.
Song Lam Nghe An’s coach assistant Pham Anh Tuan is not allowed to attend two games of his team, because Tuan protested to the referee after the clash between Huy Hoang and Samson.
In the match between Hanoi FC and Khanh Hoa on Hang Day stadium, Khanh Hoa’s Tan Tai was suspended for two games and has to pay VND5 ($250) of fine for protesting to referee Bui Quang Thong.
After the VFF announced the penalty, Khanh Hoa FC lodged its complaint to the federation and asked VFF to consider referee Thong’s conduct. According to the FC, Thong threatened Tan Tai, using very rude words.
