Northern Vietnam will experience severe cold weather for three days starting on February 16, due to the effects of a cold snap, the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting predicted.
Temperatures are forecast to drop below 10 degrees Celsius in mountainous regions and to around 20 degrees Celsius in the delta areas.
The cold weather will bring light rains to the north and north central areas as well as 2-3 force northeasterly winds to the mainland and 3-4 force winds to coastal areas.
Also, from tomorrow, the Bac Bo (Tonkin) Gulf and the waters off the Central area will see 5-6 force winds with gusts of up to 7, in addition to choppy waters.
