Bay said one month ago while he was digging sand on the bank of the Van Canh River in Binh Dinh province, he found out the fossil stump at the depth of over 5m.
The man initially believed that the stump was a rock with beautiful veins but it turns out to be a fossil stump.

This is the first time a fossil stump of thousands of years old discovered in Binh Dinh.
