A ceremony was held on July 31 in Hanoi to mark the completion of the roof of the two tallest residential buildings (48 stories, 211 metres) of the Keangnam Hanoi Landmark Tower complex.
Safety certificate for the structural framework awarded.
This is an important milestone in the project, marking the completion of the structural framework after 32 months.
The residential part of the project is expected to be put into use by January 2011, and the hotel will be operational in August 2011. About 90% of the apartments have already been sold, despite their relatively high price.

The construction of the project has applied many technologies that have not been used in Vietnam before, such as outrigger structures and post-tensioning, to make the building resistant to climate changes and earth quakes.
Since the construction started in August 2007, the structural framework of the two residential buildings has been completed, marking a major milestone in the project. Once completed, the Landmark 72 building will be the tallest building in Vietnam, and the 17th in the world with a height of 336 metres.
